All reports so far indicate that Wine is more stable (and performant) than Cider, but it still isn't a magic solution that never crashes. EVE does crash on Windows, too, unfortunately, so it's not just the wrapper for the Mac. LogLite is installed with the launcher - you can enable 'Run clients with logging' in the launcher settings and it will start up automatically whenever you start a client.
